Four years ago, one of the past pupils from St Modwen's Primary, Helena, sadly passed away. I will always remember her smiling face in Year 4; she had such vitality and enthusiasm. It is so important that we all support young people on their journey and do everything we can to promote mental health awareness. It is good to talk and good to listen! Thank you.

Thank you to everyone who has worked alongside me over the last 11 years. Your commitment and dedication to the young people of Chellaston will always be remembered. We can all feel proud of playing our part in a really good school to help all children step to success. I feel privileged to have been able to lead such a good school and have cherished memories of fun and collaboration. I will greatly miss the pupils, staff, parents and governors; I wish you all health and happiness in the years ahead.

Thank you for support. James
