Story

Hello,

my name is James. I am forty years old and I have always promised myself and my family that I would run a marathon before I was 40. So here I am, I turned forty this year and have run out of time and excuses. I knew that by being stupid enough to attempt this that I would be able to raise some money. My chosen charity is the Acute Cardiac Care Trent Unit at Nottingham City Hospital. This charity is close to my heart because over the last twenty years the unit's nurses, doctors and specialists provided my dad with the highest level of care and attention. Since his first heart attack in 1990 they have saved his life on many occasions, provided him with exceptional level of care and kindness.

Sadly my dad died on 3rd July 2010 and I am now raising money in his memory.
