I am running the London Marathon 2018 to raise money in the memory of my Sister and Best friend "Anna Olivia Forbes Hodgkins" aka "Sprog", who was rescued by the Air Ambulance Service following a tragic accident where she was knocked over by a car at a road junction at lunchtime on Friday 27 January 2017 whilst she was out doing something she loved "Running, enjoying the fresh air and open spaces" on her usual training run just 2 mins from her home.

Unfortunately, Anna was later pronounced dead from her injuries at Coventry Hospital further to Brain Stem tests been undertaken at approx. 21:30pm that evening with myself and all her close family at her side.

Only 32 years of age Anna was a devoted wife to her Husband  Phil and Mother to their daughter Florence (aged just 18 months at the time of the tragic accident)..

Anna was a keen runner but most of all a beautiful person both on the Inside and out, a fantastic Sister and Best Friend to me, it will be with a very heavy heart but great Honour to run the London Marathon 2018 in her loving memory and raise valuable funds to help the Air Ambulance Service continue to provide an excellent service and save Lives.

Sprog, I miss you each and every day.
