Hey there,
Thank you for visiting my page! This summer, 19th August, a few colleagues and I will be training hard (in our own special ways) to raise money for children with special needs by completing the National Three Peak Challenge.
The National Three Peaks Challenge is a mountain-endurance challenge in Great Britain, with a history of over 40 years, in which we will attempt to climb the highest peaks of each of the island's three countries.
The mountains climbed, in order of elevation, are Ben Nevis in Western Scotland, 1,344 metres (4,409 ft), Snowdon in North Wales, 1,085 metres (3,560 ft), and Scafell Pike in North-Western England, 978 metres (3,209 ft). In all the challenge involves some 42 kilometres (26 mi) of ascent and descent, with total travel approaching 765 kilometres (475 mi).
And yes we will do it in UNDER 24 HOURS!!!!!
The charity we will be supporting is one that is very close to my heart the ‘Children with Special Needs Foundation’. These children climb mountains everyday! The charity’s purpose is to provide essential care for children with special needs. This also includes assisting very talented children who are finding it difficult to reach their true potential without support.
Your donations will push me to the top and keep me awake!!!
Thank you!
James
