Ride London 100 · 2 August 2015

Every working day in the UK two construction workers take their own life. We are the only charity providing emotional, physical and financial support to the construction community through our 24/7 Helpline.

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Every year I do something for charity and this year I was bullied (by my very good friends at the British & Irish Trading Alliance) to enter the 'Ride London 100' .  This is a 100 mile bike ride!

When in December I said 'yes' I weighed in at a towering 18.5 stone and have no intention of propelling myself at that weight on a bike through London & Surrey so the James Halligan you will see at the finish line on 2nd August will be a very different James Halligan that said 'yes' to this challenge - I just hope I am still alive to enjoy the new skinnier me..

Thank you for your support - James
