Bravehearts is a charity which recognises the courage and bravery of the children in the North East of England. Bravehearts was founded as a channel for parents, nurses, friends and families of brave children to be able to nominate them to be recognised and rewarded with a Bravehearts crystal and a gift of their choice. This charity receives floods of applications each year and annual fundraising events and support from sponsors make it all possible. Bravehearts continue to put smiles on the faces of really courageous children. I have personally chose to run The Great North Run for this charity because it is hugely motivating for myself, I do aim to run it in

 1 hour 30 Minutes I know it will make a real difference to all the children that truly do deserve to be given a crystal and have a huge smile put on their face during what is usually a difficult time.
