Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Hello Everyone!!

As some of you are already aware I am taking part in the Plymouth Breakwater Swim 2018 (5th August, Plymouth Hoe)

It’s been a personal challenge of mine for some years now, it’s also a great way to raise some money for a great cause and encourage our children, friends and family to take part in something a little different from everyday life, it’s also a great way to help stay healthy & improve on our fitness.

The swim is 4K (2.2miles) 2 boats will take the swimmers out to the breakwater from Plymouth hoe and drop us off, we then have to swim back to Tinside Lido (The Terrace Cafe)

This is going to be another great event for Plymouth and it is hoped that it will help raise lots of funds for the Chestnut Appeal as well as raising awareness of prostate cancer across the region.
To date the Breakwater swim has raised in excess of £140,000 for the Chestnut Appeal.

This will be the seventh annual Chestnut Appeal swim across Plymouth Sound and the 25th Chestnut Appeal sponsored swim.

It would be greatly appreciated if you would consider sponsoring me and donate to my JustGive page

it’s a fantastic event for a great cause!!! It would also be great to see you on the day if you have the Sunday morning free!!! If you would like anymore information on the event please let know.

So... the swim is less than 4 weeks away, myself and 4 other friends and family... Dave Jeffery, Mark Dobson, Daniel Howe and Leon Harvey will also be taking part on the day! Wish us luck. Thank you once again for your donations.
