Bupa Great South Run 2010 · 24 October 2010 ·

Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the leading charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

This year Anne has taken up the challenge and has been training to run 10 Miles, for Charity.

Last year we raised £500 for the stroke association which was amazing and I hope we can achieve something similar this year.

The reason James originally picked the stroke association last year is that Anne's Nan had a stroke and it can be difficult, she recovered which was great but what I didn't know is that it affects young and old and can be quite bad when it occurs, but with support and research people are able to re-gain the mobility/life they once had.

It would be great if you can give whatever you can afford.

Thanks

James and Anne.
