Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.On July 29th 2017, my friend Che and I are walking from Belfast to Killarney (260 miles) over a period of ten days (26 miles a day) to raise funds for PIPS. PIPS are a community based suicide awareness and prevention charity who offer care services for people contemplating suicide and family support for those bereaved by suicide. In recent years, suicide rates in Belfast and throughout Northern Ireland have increased drastically and more recently a number of young people in our local community have also lost their lives to suicide. It is therefore hoped that by walking to Killarney, me and Che can raise as much money as possible to help other young people who are perhaps contemplating suicide to get the assistance they need before it is too late.
