At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

A tough challenge - trekking at altitude, summiting North Africa's highest peak at 4,200m- to challenge a disease that can be the toughest of ordeals for sufferers and their families alike.

We've all been touched by dementia - whether that be directly, a family member or friends dealing with the disease, so please help me out on my challenge - even if it's support on a training hike (pubs guaranteed!) or a donation big or small - all hugely appreciated.  Every penny you donate goes directly to fighting dementia - plus a matching contribution from my employer, so a target of over £2,000!

Alzheimer’s Society is doing incredible work transforming the landscape of dementia forever. Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
