Story
I know it's not a good time to ask people to dig in to their pockets and sponsor so soon after Christmas & New Year, but then again, there's NEVER a good time to need a Hospice!
Our beloved and hugely missed mother, Margaret Ralph, passed away just over a year ago, and as awful as it was it could have been so much worse but for the unbelievable care she received at St. Catherine's hospice. These quiet heroes look after anyone and everyone of all ages and backgrounds and help them to live out their final days peacefully and with dignity as well as support the families and loved ones through heartbreaking times.
Their work is completely funded by donations and my sister and I can think of no better way to thank them and to help other families to have the support that we had than by raising as much money as we can by running the Los Angeles Marathon, so that they can continue their incredible work.
No amount is too big, or too small. All donations will be gratefully received, and you know that whatever we manage to raise will be going towards making a real difference to the final days of someone with a terminal illness.
Thank you
James & Lucy
