Forty things at Forty · 5 February 2015

Over 150,000 of us in the UK have MS. It’s unpredictable and different for everyone. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We’re the MS Society. We understand what life’s like with MS. We're here for you through the highs, lows and everything in between. Together, we are strong enough to stop MS.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Having just hit the big four-zero, I got thinking about bucket lists, and all the things that I've always wanted to do that have so far been left undone. From driving a Ferrari to sampling weird and wonderful food, the world is full of amazing, interesting and challenging things, and now seems like the perfect time to get on with doing a few of them.

My aim is to get through 40 new things by the end of 2015, and make it extra worthwhile by raising a significant amount of money for charity in the process, as I challenge myself, learn new things and even confront a few fears along the way.

I've chosen Multiple Sclerosis Society UK. It's a very well established charity waging a battle on many fronts against this often debilitating and sometimes devastating condition that affects 100,000 people in the UK. It can strike at random and without warning, and is something that, for me, affects both family and friends.

Any amount, big or small, will be really gratefully received and help me towards my ultimate aim of raising £5,000.

Every penny raised goes to the charity (I'm paying for my 40 Things myself).

Thank you so much.
