On Sunday 16th September I will be putting myself through the Great North Run to raise money for the children's hospice Grace House North East.  

As usual when I booked my place at the start of the year I had wild aspirations of a personal best time and beating the red arrows to South Shields.  Unsurprisingly I find myself with the uneviable task of cramming about 3 months of training into 7 days and the revised target of not being embarrassed by most the comedy fancy dress chickens/camels/horses/pink panthers/vikings(terry)/darth vader/father christmas etc. etc.

Anyway, I'm trying to raise £250 for Grace House North East which will go towards equipping a fantastic new home for terminally ill children across the region.  It's a terrific cause and any donation you can make will be greatly appreciated.
