We met Michele Dawson, through our friend Katie Brown, when they started dating about 9 years ago. In 2017, at the age of 42, Michele was diagnosed with terminal stage 4 triple negative metastatic breast cancer. This devastating news obviously changed Michele and Katie’s lives forever, but they stood together and their bravery and determination to combat the illness was inspirational.

Michele passed away in November, and it's been heart-breaking to see the devastation this illness can cause to someone and the people closest to them. Speaking to Katie, Myton Hospice did an incredible job, and I am thankful for the care they gave in her final days – the support Katie was also given throughout and to this day is phenomenal and they deserve every penny of support we can muster.
