Pilgrims Hospices Cycle Challenge · 3 May 2015 ·

Pilgrims Hospices is a charity providing palliative care, free of charge, to people in east Kent. For people with a range of life-limiting illnesses, specialist services are provided from our three hospices in Canterbury, Ashford and Thanet, in patients' homes and via community programmes.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am cycling 100 miles not only as a personal challenge but to raise money for the Pilgrims Hospices who aim to improve quality of life for those with serious uncurable illness.

This will be the third year I have taken part in the Pilgrims Hospice Cycle Challenge. The two previous years I cycled 78 miles but this year I will be increasing the distance to 100 miles which will be the longest cycle ride I have ever done.

I will be doing the ride on a mountain bike tuned for long distance road riding with slick road-style tyres, and gearing using a narrow range 'road' cassette alongside large front chain rings.

Your support of the Pilgrims Hospice will help me complete this challenge!
