Story

Who are the Petplan Charitable Trust?

The Petplan charitable trust was formed in 1994 to help with the advancement of veterinary medicine and animal welfare.

Who are we?

James Wilson and Andy Ward are two keen hikers who are looking to push themselves with this challenge. Keen to help raise some money for charity whilst ticking challenges off their bucket list.

The challenge...

We’re going to tackle the Yorkshire Three Peaks in 12 hours or less. It’s a 26 mile walk with a total climb of 1,585 metres – that’s the height of seventeen Big Bens or five times the height of The Shard!

About the charity

Petplan Charitable Trust gives its donors the opportunity to act as a major collective force for the wellbeing of animals - modest individual donations, when added together, allow substantial grants to be made. The Trust does not and will not consider applications which involve experimental or invasive surgery.
