We support VisPa schools and orphanage to give each child a brighter future

Story

On the 6th October 2018 we will join a group of 17 other novices from Country Antrim, Northern Ireland to trek to Everest Base camp to raise money for Friends of VisPa.

Friends of VisPa exists to support VisPa, an education focussed mission based in western Kenya which cares for and supports over 600 impoverished children from pre-school level right through to University.

Founded in 2007, VisPa is run by local Kenyan staff and includes an orphanage, nursery, primary school and secondary school which care for and educate almost 600 children every year as well as supporting young people through University.

The funds that we raise on our Everest Base camp challenge will be used specifically to build a new primary school for over 300 children based at the VisPa orphanage.

The group are all funding the trip themselves and all funds raised will go towards building the new school.

Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for supporting this fantastic charity.
