My name is James Hayes. I am 9 years old.

Recently one of my teachers was diagnosed with breast cancer. At the moment she is having treatment to get better. I hope she can come back to school soon, maybe when in Year 5. She is only young. She is a nice teacher, kind and helpful. She made maths fun! We used to play a game called fizz buzz which taught us our times tables. She always listens to you if you have a problem or get upset and she always helped us out. I would give her 10 out of 10.

I am fundraising for this charity because it supports breast cancer causes and and because we saw King Kenny in the supermarket in Formby, close to where I live. I am organising different events over the next few months ending with a 5k night-time run (The Firefly Run) which takes place near New York on 26th May. I will be on holiday and no money donated will be used towards my trip. All donations will go to the cause.

I hope to raise £5,000 - '5k for 5k' ! Thank you again for reading this and maybe donating?!?
