I am honoured to be joining Scunthorpe United Vice-President Sir Ian Botham on his next mammoth charity trek across South Africa.

Originally, it was our chairman Peter Swann who was intending to join Sir Ian on the walk - until injury put a halt to his plans, so I have stepped into the breach.

This mammoth trek will take in most of South Africa’s prime locations and stunning scenery, covering well over 100km.
