Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page, helping me to raise money for Walkoncemore, a charity dedicated to finding and funding a cure for spinal cord injury.

It was originally my intention to raise money for Walkoncemore via my participation in the 2019 edition of the Marathon des Sables.  Unfortunately though, for various reasons, I will no longer be taking part in this event.

Instead though, I will be running the Lakeland 100, a 105 mile ultramarathon through the Lake District that takes place on 26th - 28th July 2019.

I have some history with this race, having DNF’d in 2018 after being forced to retire with a torn calf.  This left me on crutches for a week, and unable to run for quite some after that, so I plan to return in 2019.

Although slaying this particular demon is a motivation for me, my greater motivation will be raising money for Walkoncemore, so any donations will be hugely appreciated.
