Story

Hey guys,

So the day came and went and after months of training on the 14th of September I completed the London Duathlon at Richmond park. I competed in the super sprint a 5k/11k/5k run/bike/run. I'm am very proud to say that I managed to complete the course in a time of 1:07:29 which I belive is good enough for 3rd place.

I entered this race not only too challenge myself but also to raise funds for a charity close to my heart Macmillan cancer research. And I am very happy to say I have raised £433 which should raise to over £600 in the coming weeks.

I want to say a huge thanks to all that have donated and that these donations have made my challenge so much more worthy.

I also want to say a big thank you to Tammy for your support throughout my training and on race day.

As you know I was running a raffle along side my fundraising campaign. On the 15th September the raffle was randomly drawn and the winners are as follows-

Dan Avery - a Betty Stoggs gift set from skinners brewery

Linda and Bill - a roddas goodie bag

Tristan - a signed Katherine Jenkins picture

Jemma - a collective goodie bag
