Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I took part in the Plymouth Breakwater Swim on August 5th after a very late decision (the day before!) to go for it.

I'm not going to lie - I was really nervous beforehand as I am not a swimmer and have avoided swimming for four decades,  until very recently. However the glorious weather and warm sea proved too appealing and after some calming words from fellow swimmers just before, I managed to complete the challenge. It was a long way and it's certainly different from any land based running event. (Jellyfish rather than Jelly Babies!) But the whole experience was amazing and it was a fantastic event to be part of. (The sunshine helped of course!)

I really hope you can help me raise some funds for this great cause and all the work the charity do. This is their main fundraising event of the year so if you can dig deep, it is hugely appreciated. Every little helps for sure.
