We’re Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM), and we’re a suicide prevention charity. We host a helpline for people affected by suicide, as well as vital online resources for anyone who needs them.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page...

In October 2018 I will be running the Royal Parks half marathon with the intention to raise at least £500 for the charity CALM.
We are at a point where the capmaign to break the stigma around mental health is crucial!
One in every 15 men will attempt suicide in the UK at some point in their life and suicide is the single biggest killer in men under the age of 45.
Having experienced my own anxiety issues, I want to help raise awareness, get people talking about their own mental health and achieve my target donation to support a wonderful charity that helps to make sure that men across our country have the support available to them that they deserve during the harder times.
