Back in November I went to a Charity Dinner, this charity was the Jacob Abraham Foundation. In listening to the guest speaker of the night about how she had lost her son to suicide, really struck a chord with me. Back in February 2004 I lost my brother, and would like to help this charity who are working to prevent suicide.
I took up running just over 12 months ago, during this time I have finished 5 half marathons including other races throughout the year. I am a member of #Ogmorephoenixrunners who are an amazing club with a massive support network. I am also part of a team that has set up a new social running group in Bridgend #justrunpenybont helping others to get active and achieve their goals.
2019 has seen me set some new challenges of my own, I am running a minimum of a half marathon for every month to include two full marathons, one of which being one of the toughest in Wales Snowdonia Marathon Eryri.
