We provide equipment and run social events to improve the lives of disabled children.

Story

My reasons for choosing this charity are because my good friend Antony's son Theo Hall goes to this school, Antony was supposed to be running with me but due to injuries from an accident at work has had to pull out. Downsview school supports children with severe to profound learning disabilities, over half have autism and many have physical disabilities and complex medical needs they are drawn from all over East Sussex. The friends of downsview are a charity that support fund raising for the school and link college, providing equipment that is not funded from statutory budgets. Because of this school Theo is getting the right support he needs to thrive and is making us all very proud. So thankyou for taking time to read and please be generous and donate.

There is so much more that children with disabilities need. We raise money to provide this: from eye-gaze software to specialist gym equipment, from outdoor play to indoor soft play area. Our current priority is for a trampoline room as part of the school extension and refurbishment works.
