Hi!
My name is Jamie Stepien and on 1st May 2019 I will be completing a multi-day run from Trafalgar Square in London, to Edinburgh castle. I am raising money for the Willow foundation, a fantastic cause who create memorable special days for seriously ill 16-40 year olds.
In April this year I took part in my first marathon in London, and I have since kept up the training and have now completed two more in Italy and Spain! This however is going to be a different kettle of fish. This challenge will take place over about 24 days and will see me travelling around 450 miles completely on foot through the English and Scottish countryside!
Thankyou very much for taking the time to visit my page!
About the charity
At Willow we believe in quality of life and quality of time. Willow is the only national charity working with seriously ill young adults aged 16 to 40 to fulfil uplifting and unforgettable Special Days. This year we hope to fulfil 1,400 Special Days – a day to anticipate, to share and to remember when happy memories really do count. Sadly for some, it’s a last chance to fulfil a dream with the people that really matter. Thankfully for many more their Special Day is an important opportunity to put much-needed normality back into living.
