Walking the O2 Arena · 13 November 2016

SATEDA supports & advocates for victims of domestic abuse and their children. We work across Kent & Medway, providing Drop Ins, 1:1 support, Counselling, Support2Court & educational and therapeutic group work. We also have an employability programme for survivors of abuse.

Story

I hate heights.

Trying to navigate the highest escalators or being stuck high up and unable to move are a recurring nightmare for me at times of worry and stress.

Walking over the top of the O2 Arena may seem such a doddle for a lot of people but I'm dreading the experience. This is why I'm doing it. I want my efforts to mean something and raise money for a very local and worthwhile cause.

Some people don't even know they're experiencing domestic violence until the damage is done. SATEDA offers great support for anyone in Swale experiencing domestic violence.
