Sense - Jurassic Coast Walk 2009 · 10 October 2009 ·

Sense is here to support disabled people from the first weeks of life through all the major milestones of adulthood. Over 70 years, we’ve built extensive knowledge and expertise in supporting disabled people with complex needs, including deafblind people.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On the 10th and 11th of October in the South West of England, I shall be taking part in the Sense Jurassic Coast Walk and enduring some strenuous hiking conditions all in the name of Sense, 32 miles in all!

Although there will be the obligatory refreshment stops in many of the picturesque towns and villages throughout my journey, don't be fooled by this enchanting vision - there will be many steep climbs along the way!

If you could support me and more importantly Sense with a donation, however small or big, I would be very very grateful!!!

About Sense:

Sense is the leading national charity that supports and campaigns for children and adults who are deafblind. We provide expert advice and information as well as specialist services to deafblind people, their families, carers and the professionals who work with them. We also support people who have sensory impairments with additional disabilities

Sense's vision is of a world in which all deafblind children and adults can be full and active members of society. Their purpose is to work in partnership with others – deafblind people, their families, carers and professionals – to ensure that everyone challenged by deafblindness or sensory impairment with other disabilities, has access to advice, opportunities and support.
