Story

On Sunday the 28th May 2017 we will be running the Edinburgh Marathon to raise money for a charity that helps save thousands of young lives every year.

We have been training hard in all weathers to prepare ourselves for this grueling challenge and hope to complete the course in under four hours, fingers crossed!

We aim to raise as much money as possible for Great Ormond Street Hospital. We've picked this charity following attendance to Tyler's Playtime Ball in November 2016. Here we learnt about the story of a beautiful young boy called Tyler Reader.

In November 2015, Tyler Reader, a perfectly happy and healthy young boy, suddenly passed away, despite the best efforts of the team at GOS, after developing sepsis following what appeared to be a normal chest infection.

We hope people will donate, in memory of Tyler, to help prevent other children and families going through a similar experience and to continue to support the fantastic work of the team at GOS.

Thank you,
Jane and Sam.
