My mother was diagnosed with dementia 3 years ago. ...since then she continued to live her life with love, dignity, uniqueness and as much independence as she could. Every Sunday afternoon we would enjoy tea and cake and share love and laughter with those closest to her. I wanted to raise money for dementia awareness as I know that it is a very worthwhile cause supporting those who care for loved ones with dementia.
