My chosen charity is Breast Cancer Support.  Following a routine mammogram, my very close friend of 42 years was diagnosed with low level breast cancer, she is currently under going treatment. Without the screening, things could have been so much worse.  Part of BCS's remit is to screen women in remote areas, both here and abroad with their mobile mammogram units, hence my choice.

These days, as more of us challenge ourselves to do, or in my case, not to do something 😳, charitable donations can become slightly tedious and a little irritating.  Therefore, I won't be upset if it's not your bag, however, if you can swap a pint of beer or a bottle of wine for a donation that would absolutely great. Basically, if I don't put it out there, there's not a hope in hell of me doing it, last time I lasted 3 days😅!

So, wish me luck!  Will let you know how I’ve got on, roll on 1st February.
