Stuart was caring, funny, cheeky, lively and out spoken and his passing has left his family devastated. To honour his unique character, life celebration services begin at 2pm on Thursday 5th January at Darwen's St Peter's Church, followed by Pleasington Crematorium and Masonic Hall (Darwen).

During periods of his life, Stu sought the support and advice from his local mental health team, a service sadly over-used but sorely underfunded. Therefore, instead of sending flowers, you can remember Stu by making a  donation in his memory to Manchester Mind. Not only will this be an incredible comfort to his family but it will help this local independent, self-financed charity to promote positive attitudes to mental health, challenge stigma, increase awareness and work for better mental health for all.
