Warrior Dash – London 2012 · 23 June 2012 ·

The Hospice helps people to live their precious lives well. Our care has many forms – at home, in our outpatient Spring Centre or through specialised care in one of our Hospice beds - and is defined by each person's need. We rely on donations to raise the £5m we need each year to fund our free care.

Please take a few mintues to have a look at this link:

It shows you exactly what we will be doing as part of the Warrior Dash 2012. It really is a mad course and seems to of got harder since we registered. However we will be giving it our best shot, getting covered in mud and hopefully enjoying every minute.

Please donate to the Hospice of St Francis and help them continue to support people and their families at very difficult times.

"The Hospice of St Francis cares for people from Dacorum, St Albans, Harpenden, Markyate, Chesham, Amersham and the surrounding villages. It is the only in patient unit with special facilities that allow patients to be cared for 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It also helps patients who are seriously ill at home but needs to raise more than £3.5million every year.
We provide care for patients with serious or terminal illness. Many of our patients have cancer but we also look after patients with heart disease, lung disease, kidney disease and neurological disease, as well as cancer."
