London Marathon 2018 · 22 April 2018 ·

We’re the UK’s leading bowel cancer charity. We’re determined to save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer. Our vision is a future where nobody dies of the disease.

Story

I am running for Bowel Cancer UK in memory of my dear sister Emma who died in May 2016 aged just 52. Emma was diagnosed with colon cancer in August 2010. For nearly six years Emma faced her terminal illness with incredible courage and determination making the most of every moment with her loving family and friends.

Emma is deeply missed by me, the rest of her family and her many friends. I know she will be with me every step I take on this marathon cheering me on from ‘upstairs’ as I run for this charity very close to both our hearts.
