Hi Everyone,

I have recently turned the big 50 and have decided it would be a really good idea for me to do 50 running races in the year I am 50- crazy of me I know!! As you will realise, this will mean me doing a race pretty much every single week, they will range from 5k races up to half marathons.

In February this year (2014) a family close to mine were delivered the heartbreaking news that their beautiful little 7 year old boy had leukaemia. Since then, their world has been turned upside down with Alfie going through his treatments. 

I have seen first hand how much CLIC Sargent has helped and supported Alfie and his family through this difficult time and how much they appreciate everything they have done.

If I can help even a tiny bit by raising some money to help families like Alfies then this will be worth every ache and pain this year!!
