To be homeless, vulnerable, cold, hungry, scared - I can't think of anything worse. Can you imagine it? At this time of year, most of us are looking forward to enjoying Christmas with our family and friends. For the homeless, Christmas will be a very different story.

I volunteer one morning a week at the CAP centre for the homeless in Wakefield. We feed, clothe and support some of the most vulnerable people in our city. Our funds are never enough for the ever increasing needs of people without anything. 

I will be sleeping rough in Wakefield city centre for one night with supporters and staff of CAP.
