This year, Pete and Jane are both turning 50. Hooray!  Lots of people have kindly asked us what we would like as gifts. Instead of buying us anything, we have chosen two special charities that we would like to ask you to consider supporting, as a way of celebrating our birthdays. 

        Bishop's Stortford Food Bank & The National Autistic Society

We can't put two charities on one Just Giving Page, so that is why we have set up two pages .... 

Jane is a Trustee at Bishop's Stortford Food Bank and the team there are as busy as ever this year helping people in the local community. The Food Bank is there to help anyone in Bishop’s Stortford and the surrounding villages experiencing a food crisis.

Every financial donation is gratefully received and helps the Food Bank provide more support to people in need. They rely on financial donations to contribute towards their overhead costs, and to buy any food, toiletries and household items that are in short supply.

Pete nominated The National Autistic Society, a charity that aims to transform lives and change attitudes to help create a society that works for autistic people. It's a cause that means a great deal to some of our family and friends, so hopefully our 50th birthday celebrations can make a small difference to this national charity.
