Hackney Half Marathon 2014 · 22 June 2014 ·

Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund is the only national charity dedicated solely to beating pancreatic cancer through research. Survival rates are low, so new research is vital. In the past, this cancer received little attention. With your help, we can change this so more people beat pancreatic cancer.

Story

My husband Phil was diagnosed 4 months ago with stage IV pancreatic cancer. Currently, it remains very underfunded compared to other cancers and has one of the lowest survival rates over 1 year. Only increased funding ,drug trials and research may increase survival in the future.

My friend of 30 years is going to run the Hackney half marathon in June. She lost her father to the same disease. Please support her in her efforts - thank you Mel from the bottom of our hearts, Jane and Phil
