Mason a difference

100km London to Brighton · 30 June 2018 ·
When I was 28 I had a heart attack and nearly died. Today I'm raising much-needed money and awareness to help the Heart Foundation continue its research into heart disease and to help save lives like mine, and like yours.
The truth is, heart disease kills 1 in 4 people, so chances are you or someone you know has or will be affected. But it doesn't have to be this way. You can help change that so you don't end up a statistic like me.
Throw a pound in the ring and I'll pound the pavement for the 100k trek from London to Brighton (it's a bloody long way, that's all you need to know). You'll get to watch me live on Facebook through this grueling ordeal, and my Husband too (totally roped him into this). We will be walking non-stop for 24 hours and for our pain, we aim to raise £1,000 for the Heart Foundation.
The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help me hit my target.
Thanks for your support, every dollar helps!
