David and I  are planning a sponsored walk to raise funds for Devon Historic churches Trust, in particular St. Mary's Church in Ideford. We were  inspired by David  Woodhouse’s (Vicar of Ideford in the 1970s) memories of walking with Ann Rigby -Jones from Ideford to Ashcombe in the snow to attend a church service. We plan to walk the same route (hopefully not in the snow!) and back to Ideford via Luton for tea and cake. 

I appreciate that for David, who enjoys his long distance walking, this will be a ‘walk in the park’, but I can assure you that for me, it will be a challenge and your sponsorship will be much appreciated!
