I had meningitis when I was 14, Gullian Barries Syndrome (paralysed from the waist down) when I was 32 and breast cancer when I was 47 (get your lucky white heather here lol).  A double mastectomy followed, plus  a while on chemo and radiotherapy - in case no one knows - chemo is THE pits.  I've since had reconstruction and the all clear this year - 10 years ago and it feels a life time away.
