Talans Trust is a Cornwall based charitable trust created in the memory of a local Bude boy, Talan Penny . Talan died of a rare cancer called Rhabdomyosarcoma on 19th May 2017 at the age of 19. His death has touched the whole community and beyond. 

A charitable trust has been set up by Talans mum and truly inspirational woman Sarah (and close friends ) In Talans name "Talans Trust" which feeds directly into the Chris Lucas Trust who funds two full time researchers of childhood cancers at the Royal Marsden Hospital  in South London. 

The Trust has held and continues to hold many successful events in memory of Talan and to raise awareness and funds for such  incredibly important research 

I was one of many who ran the #Tal21 in November. The run is an annual event , this year in memory and celebration of What would have been Talans 21st birthday. 

 I am one of 10 Bude people to be privileged enough to be running the Bath Half Marathon on behalf of Talans Trust.  

Donations are what keeps the research going and hope for a cure alive.
