Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.  We made it! Through rain and sleet, sun and snow we completed the walk yesterday! At a little after 11.30 we where dropped off at the foot of Whitesheet hill and began an ascent into the clouds! Despite the weather (well this is Britain!) we completed the walk in a little over 4 hours which we think is quite respectable and we can now type this with feet in respective footspas! 

The money raised you have donates will help so many in need, thank you so much to everyone who sponsored us for this walk, it means a great deal to us and to Save the Children.

Save The Children is a brilliant charity, helping to fight not only child poverty in the UK but also in disaster areas like Haiti and the Qinghai earthquake. They work hard to get aid and support to those children most in need  to source essential relief supplies, like water containers, food, mosquito nets, blankets and materials to build temporary shelters. We buy supplies locally wherever possible.

In the UK they are working with to support the end child poverty campaign and help the 1 in 3 children currently living under the poverty line.  If you'd like to know more about this work be sure to look at their website here
