For those who know of my relentless attitude towards long distance runs, you may be glad (or amused) to know that I'm attempting the 'Chase the Sun' at Hyde Park on the 20th July, and would be very grateful for any donations.

Contact the Elderly is a great cause that tackles isolation amongst older people, and ensures that those who may no longer have families around them still have people they can regularly connect with.

So far, my extensive training has consisted of running through crowds, running for the train, running late and running out of patience! (especially as someone who has moved to London from up North!!).

In all seriousness, it's a lovely cause, and this will be yet another physical challenge that I spend copious amounts of time recovering from!
