Jurassic Coast Ultra Challenge 2024 · 18 May 2024 ·

We exist to give a lifetime of support to the wider Army family, regardless of where or when a soldier served. We act swiftly and efficiently in providing support in the form of grants to those who find themselves in real need. We also provide grants to charities who support the wider Army family.

Story

No big story or self affirming epiphanies here. We both just decided to do something a bit challenging to get us out of the constant normality of life. The Jurrasic Coast Ultra Challenge will see us attempt to walk/run/jog 100km non stop (apart from some tea breaks) across some of the southern coast of the UK. Neither of us having never been into much cardio work, naturally, this would be a good challenge to try and attempt 😳

At any rate, this should be a bit of a laugh and what better excuse to try and raise a bit of cash for a charity we both have a close affinity with.

Having both served, we have seen and experienced some of the life changing aspects of what it really means to sign that pledge. As such we have also seen the difference that charities like the ABF provide, in the lives of those who have been so adversely affected. So we have both decided to dedicate this challenge to the ABF and hope that, together with your donations, we can help them to continue the amazing work they currently do.
