Jasmine's Shaving my hair off

Shaving my hair off · 1 July 2013
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My story begins in September 2007, when sadly my gran was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Unfortunately it was caught late and couldn't be cured and in January 2008 she passed away, and it was the lovely nurses at Macmillan who made sure she was never alone. In 2010 my great uncle - my gran's brother - was also diagnosed with pancreastic cancer, but his was caught early and he was given the all clear. However, in the summer of 2012 he was informed that the cancer had returned and this time, it couldn't be treated. He sadly passed away in February this year, five years after we lost my gran. It is these tragic losses that has inspired me to do something to help those who are suffering with cancer, and so I have decided that this summer I will be shaving all of my hair off and donating it to Little Princess Trust, who make real hair wigs for children with cancer. The money I raise from this event will be donated to Macmillan Cancer Support, who did an amaing job looking after my gran.
Please support me in my endeavour, it would mean a lot to me and my family. No matter how much or how little you donate, every single penny counts.
