A team of 12 of us from Exeter University are planning to climb to Mount Everest base camp, Nepal (5360m) this July, in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

   Most of you who know me will be aware of my life-long ambition to climb Mount Everest, and to do it for such a worthwhile cause is such an amazing opportunity! But to get there I need your support...we will be running various fundraising events between now and July, but I need your help and anything you can give would be greatly appreciated.

   This charity gives support for all of those effected by cancer and helps life go on for them. Every single one of us know someone who has been effected by this illness, and 1 in 3 of will develop cancer ourselves. It is a subject close to everyone's hearts. Macmillan provides support financially, practically and emotionally. All we aim to do is help them to help us.
