Muddy Dog Challenge Exeter 2019 · 13 April 2019 ·

We aim to never turn away a dog or cat in need of help, caring for them until their owners or loving new homes can be found, no matter how long it takes. We are champions for, and supporters of, vulnerable dogs and cats, determined to create lasting changes for animals in our society.

Story

My best pal Fred (a working cocker spaniel), boyfriend Jonny, and I are running the Muddy Dog Challenge on 13th April at Powderham Castle in aid of Battersea Cats and Dogs home.

The Muddy Dog Challenge is a 2.5km or 5km obstacle course designed to get both dog and runner as wet and muddy as possible!

Whilst Fred is very spoilt and has a loving home, not every dog is so lucky. I wish I could adopt all the dogs and cats Battersea care for, but unfortunately that isn't an option (yet!) so I'll settle for raising money to ensure the charity and it's invaluable staff are able to continue the great work they do in caring for so many animals and finding them forever homes.

I'm a pretty rubbish runner and Fred struggles to stop wagging his tail long enough to run in a straight line so if fancy a laugh spectators (and cheerleaders) are more than welcome.

Thank you for checking out our page!

Love Fred, Jas and Jonny x
