40 MILES 400 OBSTACLES WITHIN 10 HOURS 23 MINUTES

IN MEMORY OF

ROYAL MARINE JAMES HOLLOWAY

On the 9^th of May Connor O’toole and myself will be running
the Rat Race Dirty weekend’s Dirty Double, which is a 40 mile 400 obstacle race to raise money for the RMA Charity as well as Rock 2 Recovery.

In May 2019 we completed the 20 miler as a beat up to this disgusting insane 40 miler. We are aiming to beat James’ time of 10 hours and 23 minutes, which he completed in 2015.

We sadly lost James’ way to soon in late October 2017. James was a
amazing kind hearted person who would do anything for anyone, the most loyal, genuine, selfless person we have ever had the pleasure of meeting, and extremely lucky to call him our bessie oppo. He is massively missed by all that call him Son, Brother, nephew, cousin, friend. Everything he ever done was 110% effort, there was no holding back, if that was in going the extra mile with helping anyone, to that extra mile thrashing us on the hills. He is a one in a million and will never be forgotten and forever missed. 

Any donations would be incredible to go towards the RMA Charity for the great work they do in helping the RM Family and Community, aswell as the funding they give other charities such as ROCK2RECOVERY.

UK and the cause of 18 deaths every day.

In 2018 there was 6,859 in the UK and Republic of Ireland,
that is a 10.9% increase in the UK for 2018,  and men are three times more likely to die by it than women.
