Brighton Marathon 2019 · 14 April 2019 ·

Support for Royal Marines and families in times of need and the good times too ! We appreciate the pressures of deployment, operational exercise and the stress this brings to the parents, wives and children when loved ones are away. We also work in partnership with the RMCTF on larger projects.

Story

Several Former ROYAL MARINES are running the Brighton Marathon because our brother Steve Irving sadly took his life.

In memory of Steve Irving.

We’re still in total shock that one of our brothers Steve Irving sadly took his own life early in 2018. He has left behind two lovely children Thea and Fred. As a ‘Brotherhood’ we will always be there for each other and will tirelessly help Thea and Fred. What started as some social media banter has now turned into reality, a group of a ageing but fit former Royal Marine Commandos, a Brother and Steve’s lovely daughter Thea are going to run in the Brighton marathon in Steve’s memory. Hopefully by doing so; raising the much needed funds and support for his children.

We have decided to work with GO COMMANDO because they really do look out for the bigger Royal Marines family.

Please support where possible and together let us help Thea and Fred see that that their Dads memory will last forever OARMAARM
